FEE SCHEDULE
Private autopsy contact for specific rate
o Includes morgue fee, microscopy
o Toxicology/ Radiology is available and billed separately if ordered
Medicolegal autopsy contact for specific rate
The following medicolegal services are billed at 300.00 USD/hour unless stated otherwise
o Review of records (autopsy, medical records, depositions)
o Writing an opinion
o Review of anatomical materials (slides)
o Providing testimony by deposition or court (billed to requested party)
o Preparation
o Travel
o Consultations by phone or within office
o Correspondence (email, phone calls) billed by 1⁄4 hour
Daily retainer 2,000.00 USD
Fees are billed by Horizon Forensics, LLC and are payable by certified check, money order, PayPal.
The private autopsy fee should be received along with permit BEFORE the examination.
Unpaid invoices past 60 days will be accessed a late fee of 5.00 USD/ day.
